Promotions extension allow you to list all your promotions, helps you with making new ones, and add features to special price system. Functionalities :
- Add a grid in admin with all your active promotions
- Add a product attribute "Special Price Minimum Qty Threshold" to automatically disable a promotion when stock gets low.
- Promotion proposal tool, helping you add promotions where you need.
Actually, the native algorithms are :- Sales Based : The tool calculates an overstock qty regarding the x last week sales, the available qty, and an optionnal seasonal coefficient.
- Fills a daily promotions history table (accessible only via database). Could be usefull for decision in your supply process. This is used in our Supply Chain extension, for supplier Orders Proposals.
